At present, the commonly used daylighting materials in industrial plants mainly include FRP, PC, PVC, Glass, among which FRP daylighting sheet account for over 90%.
1. Advantages of FRP sheet:
a、 The light is scattered and soft, without any dazzling feeling.
b、 There are many types of cross-sections, making it very convenient to overlap and install with profiled steel plates, and the probability of water leakage is extremely low.
c、 The coefficient of thermal expansion is close to that of steel plates, and when used in conjunction with steel plates, it can reduce the risk of water leakage to a low point.
d、 Good self-cleaning performance, no need for manual cleaning.
e、 Strong UV resistance, aging resistance, and long service life.
f、 High transparency retention.
2. Disadvantages of other lighting materials:
a. Disadvantages of PC board: poor mechanical strength (PC hollow board), poor surface scratch resistance, easy aging and yellowing under UV light irradiation, high thermal expansion coefficient, high installation cost, and difficult waterproof treatment.
b. Disadvantages of PVC sheet: poor heat resistance, softening point is 80 ℃, it starts to decompose and discolor at 130 ℃, and release HC! It is harmful to human body, plasticizer and anti-aging agent in PVC material are toxic, causing serious environmental pollution. Disadvantages of glass: poor whiteness, easily stained with dust, requiring regular cleaning; Hard and brittle, easily broken, with a self explosion rate of 0.3%, sharp cracks, and easy to injure people; High installation costs and slow construction speed; Serious light pollution, with obvious light spots indoors and reflective glare outdoors, high energy consumption, and high thermal conductivity of about 0.7W/(M · K)
