3. Many domestic FRP sheet have added a plasticizer (i.e. softener) to increase their toughness. This substance does not participate in curing and can give the daylighting board good toughness, but its strength will be greatly affected. After a period of time, the substance will precipitate from the surface of the skylight panel. As a highly carcinogenic substance, it has been strictly prohibited in foreign countries, especially in EU countries. Moreover, after adding plasticizers (softeners), the aging resistance and lifespan of the FRP sheet will be greatly reduced, which is equivalent to drinking poison to quench thirst.
